This year, we’re celebrating a milestone: 20 years of InterLink Engineering! As we reflect on the past two decades, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the clients, partners, and employees who have made this journey so meaningful. From humble beginnings to becoming a trusted partner in product design and development, here’s a look at the history that shaped us into who we are today.
A Timeline of Growth and Innovation
2004: Rich D’Aloisio founds InterLink Engineering, driven by a passion for design processes and quality. His vision creates the foundation for a company committed to empowering clients.
2007: We begin offering on-location contract engineers, expanding how we support our clients and their unique needs.
2010: InterLink finds a home at our current office, starting with one cozy suite—a space that still inspires collaboration and creativity.
2014: We host our first SolidWorks User Group meeting, building a welcoming community for engineers to learn, connect, and grow together.
2015: Recruiting services become part of what we offer, and we expand into a second suite, reflecting the growth of our talented team.
2017: We step into the future with industrial 3D printing, reselling HP and MarkForged printers and embracing the possibilities of faster, smarter manufacturing.
2020: During the challenges of the pandemic, we stand by our essential customers, offering remote engineering support to keep critical projects moving forward.
2021: We transition away from 3D printer sales to focus on design services, staying true to what we do best—helping our clients bring their visions to life.
2022: Dylan Pratt, with years of dedication and leadership, becomes the owner of InterLink as Rich retires after 18 incredible years.
2023: We enhance our offerings with 3D scanning and CMM inspection services, making it easier and faster for customers to tackle complex reverse engineering projects.
2025 and Beyond: We’re excited to introduce CNC milling, in-house metal prototyping, free Engineering Office Hours, and Summer Design Camps, continuing our mission to innovate and inspire the next generation.
